On-demand webcasts and PDF materials from past programs can be viewed immediately from the “Purchased Programs” section under “My Account”.
- Cancellation requests for live programs must be received via email at least five (5) business days before the program day to receive a full refund. Any cancellation requests received less than five (5) business days before the program date will not be processed.
- Changes regarding the format of a live program (in person or webcast) must be received at least two (2) business days before the program date to be processed. Any requests to change the format of a program received less than two (2) business days before the program date will not be processed.
- Program substitutions (between registrants) should be received at least two (2) business days before the program date to be processed.
- Refunds will not be processed for electronic products (on-demand webcasts, E-courses, PDF materials, audio files).
A bursary provides 50% off the regular price of most Law Society CPD programs for eligible applicants. Once approved, the bursary will be assigned to your LSO Store account and will automatically apply the discount at checkout. The bursary is awarded annually, based on the calendar year, and is valid for one year. Application information is held in strict confidence.
Eligibility:
- Legal services providers with annual net incomes below $35,000 qualify for the bursary.
- Applications must be submitted by November 30 for the current year; late applications will be considered for the next calendar year.
- Applications must be submitted at least 10 days before the date of any CPD program for which the bursary is sought.
Exclusions:
- The bursary cannot be combined with other discounts.
- It does not apply to programs or options priced less than $160, E-Courses, and may not be available on all items.
- The Foundations of Sole Practice course is eligible if the applicant meets the criteria outlined in the CPD Bursary Application Form.

CPD program purchase terms are for single viewers only. Additional viewers must register as a group. Group pricing applies to in-person, live webcast, and on-demand webcast group orders.
Group Discount Structure:
- 2–4 registrants: 20% discount
- 5–10 registrants: 35% discount
- 11+ registrants: 50% discount
Each registrant receives PDF materials and webcast program access.
Important Notes:
- Group pricing is available only when all registrants register at the same time, for the same program(s), and pay with a single form of payment.
