LSO CPD Updates

The Law Society’s new secure online communications channel, LSO Connects, is now live.

Some Law Society processes have changed, including the following:

Changes to payment methods

When: After September 30, 2024.

What: The Law Society has moved to a fully card-based payment system and cheques are no longer accepted. We continue to accept major credit cards.

LSO Store login

When: As of July 7, 2024 at 7:30 p.m., licensee login is no longer managed by the LSO Portal. You will only be able to login directly through the LSO Store.

How: The first time you log in on the LSO Store homepage, you will be prompted to reset your password following four short steps:

  1. Enter your email address and leave the password field blank
  2. Click on the “Login” button
  3. You will be redirected to the Password Reset page and your email address will automatically be populated.
  4. Click the “Reset Password” button and you will be sent an email containing a link to reset your password.
