Why do you have to call me when I place an order via email or using a registration form?

Major credit card companies require the collection of security numbers (CVV/CVC/CSC).

If you register directly on the LSO Store, you enter this code online. If you register by email or form, we must call you on a secure phone line to obtain your credit card information, including the security code. This helps protect your card from fraud.

What is the security code, and why do you need it?

The security code (CVV/CVC/CSC) is a 3- or 4-digit number on your credit card located on either the front or back of the card. It helps verify the cardholder’s identity and minimize fraud.
