Description

As a lawyer or paralegal representing employers or injured workers in WSIB matters, you understand that nothing is as simple as it looks and change is always around the corner. This program takes a comprehensive look at the developing case law, with particular focus on some challenging areas. We also explore practical considerations that influence the adjudication of claims, and leave you with some tips on how to adapt your practice to keep up with procedural changes that may arise.

  • Get an update on the latest case law involving termination or resignation of employment of injured workers
  • Learn how mental stress claims are affected by different fact situations and/or styles of advocacy
  • Hear about important changes to the WSIAT’s pre-hearing processes
