Description

While the pandemic has restricted some forums where you can advocate for your clients, it has opened up possibilities to use less traditional methods to resolve disputes. How can you take advantage of this new landscape to assist your clients to a potentially faster – and less costly – resolution of their legal issues? Alternative Dispute Resolution options are now more important than ever. Our speakers examine the role and the duties of an advocate under the Paralegal Rules of Conduct participating in ADR. You will learn how to identify the appropriate process for your matter, effectively prepare yourself and your client, and understand the techniques and tactics available to ensure that your client's conflict is resolved successfully.

  • Learn how to manage online dispute resolution effectively
  • Understand the Indigenous reconciliation â€‹process and how it works
  • Get tips on what to consider before starting a mediation practice
