Description

Allegations of violence, alienation, and child abuse combined with the scarcity of resources both inside and outside of the court system create a complex web of issues. It is no wonder that untangling these and other serious issues can be challenging for you as a family law lawyer when you are trying to help families in crisis. Our presenters provide practical strategies that they use everyday as mental health professionals, practitioners, and judges to assist you in establishing a theory of the case. They help you determine the tools you need to move your matter forward for your clients in an efficient and effective manner.

  • Understand the difference between high conflict parenting issues and family violence/intimate partner violence and alienation
  • Hear how the process varies in different jurisdictions and what steps to take when confronting procedural or other roadblocks
  • Get tips and strategies from the bench and bar on how to get matters heard quickly and the evidence needed to successfully obtain the appropriate relief
